Who we are and what we do
MK Test Systems is a leading supplier of automatic electrical test systems to the global aerospace, defence, and rolling stock sector. Since 1992, MK has worked closely with the sector’s leading OEMs to influence test methods and technologies and deliver its range of test systems to each layer of the manufacturing chain from harness shop to platform final assembly line.
MK’s systems and technology are used to test and validate the electrical circuits, electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, and bonding circuits of wiring looms, sub-assemblies, and complete aircraft/vehicle throughout the manufacturing process and in the Operators maintenance processes.
MK’s technologies automate the development of test sequences, guide the operators through the test process, rapidly and automatically measure the electrical characteristics of the Unit Under Test (UUT), and compare those measurements against the design expectations. Test results are reported and digitally logged , ensuring electrical integrity, and enabling traceability and failure mode analysis.
By implementing MK’s automatic test systems, the user reduces manufacturing and test time and eliminates the issue of passing faulty product through the manufacturing process and on to the end user.
In May 2024 MK Test Systems was acquired by Halma PLC
